“WE
DONATE”
PeaceSigns is a normal for-profit business. However,
since we wish to promote peace in as many ways as possible,
we will donate a portion of our profits to as many worthwhile
peace organizations worldwide as possible.
We will donate to some “green” ecologically oriented
non-profits also, as a healthier planet helps the cause of peace
as well.
We will post right here to whom we donated, and how much. The
amounts will vary from month to month, as they will reflect
our progress as a start-up company.
Synchronistically, at the very beginning, we had an unsolicited
donation of $258.00. The story of this donation is we had hired
a small, local printing company, “Golden Printing”
of Lakewood, CO, to do the cardboard “toppers” on
the first edition of baggies. When George, the owner of Golden
Printing realized what our fledgling company was up to, he asked
us to not write out the check to him, but to Doctors Beyond
Borders. George's daughter is an MD who gives of her valuable
time to work in foreign lands for Doctors Beyond Borders.
We feel this very first donation is a sign of blessing from
the Universe that we are on the right track with PeaceSigns,
LLC.
